No cookies, no banner
This site sets no cookies, uses no local storage, and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Nothing follows you around, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner to dismiss.
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is needed for storage that is not strictly necessary. We do not store anything at all, so the question does not arise.
What does happen when you load a page
Two things, both ordinary.
- Cloudflare serves the site and sees the request, including your IP address, which is how any website works.
- Google Fonts supplies the two typefaces, so Google sees your IP address at that moment.
Neither of those sets a cookie for us. Cloudflare may set its own security cookie if it decides a request looks like an attack, which is a strictly necessary use and exempt from consent.
If that changes
If we ever add something that does need consent, you will get a proper choice before it runs, not a wall of toggles that are all switched on by default.
